Development co-operation and environmental issues

This subcommittee strives to create discussion concerning the environmental and ecological issues. The aim is to make the staff and the students of the University of Lapland more aware of the effects of globalization, climate change and the little things we can all do to make a difference.  The subcommittee of the environmental issues organises the global well-being day every year and helps the student union to adopt more environmentally friendly ways of working, organising events and, for example, taking recycling into consideration.
